Getting the best out of the EE process

What’s your best resource for success in this process?

Open communication with your EE supervisor!

Your supervisor is here to support you, but the EE is YOUR project and process.  They will not chase you or nag you to ensure that you meet deadlines.

They will be happy to help if you arrange a meeting time with them in advance, if you ask questions or be honest about challenges and difficulties you’re facing.

Geography EE Expectations

• Is spatially focused (a specific place) on a LOCAL (or regional) place

• You can accurately MAP your results to show spatial relationships

• Is based on DATA not just literature

• Geographical theories and concepts are applied

• Will be a discursive essay, arguing different viewpoints, not descriptive

• Is NOT an IA-style write up
